Shawn Lockard has more than 25 years of experience in facilities management, an additional 14 years in environmental health and safety, and six years in risk management. He has worked in distribution, technology, manufacturing, academia and research, a career that includes time with two Fortune 500 organizations. He is recognized as a Facility Management Professional by the International Facility Management Association.

During his career, he has supported more than $10 million in renovations in hospitality and laboratory environments, and successfully lobbied for two rule changes for a California industry. After 14 years at UCLA as a senior and principal analyst serving both the School of Medicine and Campus Life Sciences, Shawn in 2018 relocated to Las Vegas, where he worked in the hospitality and gaming industry prior to joining at the Neon Museum in 2021.
