Take personal portraits with your own photographer in a shared space.
Would you like to have a portrait photo session at The Neon Museum? Don’t mind sharing the space with other photo shoot guests? Introducing: Portrait Hour.
Typically, when you book a photo shoot at The Neon Museum, you are reserving a gallery space exclusively for you. But if you’d like to keep costs down and don’t mind other guests having their own photo shoots nearby, Portrait Hour is for you.
Portrait Hours are prescheduled on specific dates and time. Please check available dates. The Neon Museum does not provide a photographer so you’ll need to provide your own. The total number of guests allowed during Portrait Hour is 15. All members of your party, including photographer, assistants and other guests, must reserve a ticket.
Photos taken during Portrait Hour are for personal use only. No commercial retail, fine art or editorial use is permitted without prior written consent of The Neon Museum. If you're interested in a shoot of this nature, or if portrait hour dates don't work with your schedule, book a private shoot here.
The cost for photo walks is $75. Nevada residents, students, active military, veterans and seniors with valid identification pay $50. Members and students pay $35.
Portrait Hour takes place in the North Gallery (click here for images) exclusively.
Please review our Film & Photo Policy. Examples of personal portrait photography permitted during the Portrait Hour are: weddings, engagements, personal social media, senior portraits, family portraits, birthdays, proposals, anniversaries, bachelor/bachelorette parties and portfolio use (i.e. the photographer’s or model’s personal website and/or personal social media, showcasing work ~ not for sale). You may not publish, sell, reproduce, transfer, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the images in any manner whatsoever without written permission from The Neon Museum
