If you're an older adult, join a fantastic workshop at the Neon Museum with Joylynn M. Ross, an award-winning writer, to Write What Happened to You In Vegas!
In this workshop series, you’ll use your pen to travel back in time to your favorite memories from our amazing city of Las Vegas. You’ll write a memoir, a collection of your own personal stories, memorable moments, or essays to create a record or book, with a chance to share.
Times & Dates:Six Mondays, 10 am - 11:30 amMarch 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, & April 1st, 2024. The final session on April 8th will be a private event to showcase your writings. |
Cost$30 for all six sessions. You MUST register and pay in advance to participate in the workshop. |
LocationAll sessions will be held in-person at The Neon Museum in the Neon Boneyard, or in the lobby, if the weather requires the group to move inside. |
Showcase EventMonday, April 8th, 10 am - 11:30 amIf you attend three sessions, you'll have the option to invite family and friends to a private event to showcase your writings, in the Neon Boneyard on Monday, April 8th, where your workshop participation will be acknowledged with a certificate of completion. |
