Two very fun things about this photo: it shows a Sign Systems Inc. employee welding what is to be part of the Excalibur pylon sign sometime in Spring/Summer 1990.

There is also a Taco Bell sign in the background. What is so special about this Taco Bell sign? Not only is it one of the older designs, but it is also in our collection (though currently in storage). It’s quite a nice little surprise to be digging through pictures labeled Excalibur only to find this gem.
